Jewellery Worth Millions Stolen from Lalique Museum in French Burglary
Burglars stole around €4 million worth of jewellery from the Lalique Museum in Wingen-sur-Moder, northeastern France, during an early-morning raid on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Around 20 pieces were taken after masked thieves forced a door and smashed display cases, leading to the museum's temporary closure. This incident occurred months after a similar gem robbery at the Louvre in Paris.
